HomeER is an urgent care clinic that comes to YOU. We offer same-day treatment for a wide variety of non-life-threatening conditions. Our educated and caring Nurse Practitioners will come to you, providing care when you need it most – without leaving your home or office. We work with your insurance company to file your claim. We accept all insurances including Medicaid and Medicare as well as cash pay for those not wanting to bill insurance.

About HomeER

HomeER is a vision that developed during the height of Covid-19, and was brought to life by Megan Hawks, owner and managing partner of HomeER. Megan has worked in the medical industry for over 20 years as a nurse and nurse practitioner. She recognized the need for quality urgent care in a setting most convenient, comfortable and safe for patients, their own home. Once the pandemic began, the need for an option to receive urgent care services from home was put in the spotlight. Megan saw this need and wanted to bring help to those in the community who were not able leave their homes. And Home ER was born.

HomeER can treat illness for all ages. HomeER accepts insurance from many major providers, including Medicaid and Medicaid Supplements.

Megan Hawks

Megan graduated with a Bachelors of Nursing in 1998 from the University of Oklahoma. Her career began with work in Occupational Health. She then moved to Medical-Surgery Nursing and then Pediatrics.

In 2007, Megan obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She has enjoyed a career as a nurse practitioner since that time, working in Primary Care and LTC facilities, as well as Assisted Living facilities.

Megan met her business partner when she began seeing her IDD patients in their homes. Megan recognized this work as her true calling. Her years of experience in working with people of all ages and conditions has prepared her for this next chapter with HomeER.

When she isn’t serving her patients in the community, Megan enjoys running, reading and traveling. She has been married to her husband Joe for nearly 24 years and has 3 children, ages 21, 18 and 16.
